QBM is a module or board based technology
designed to address the need for memory subsystem capacity and speed at
low cost points.
Using existing DDR devices, QBM,
delivers the bandwidth expected from future memory devices.
The technology provides speeds, cost savings
and a dramatic performance improvement over current DRAM device
technologies as well as other non-DDR compatible, more expensive memory
technologies.

QBM is a royalty-free
license technology
Interested companies will
have access to gerbers, design guides and assembly tools for product
development. Kentron is offering this patented technology on a
'royalty free' license basis; this is a departure from the approach
taken by other companies in the industry that have charged royalties
for their non-DDR compatible, higher cost memory technologies.
