AMI2 PRESIDENT DESI RHODEN
APPOINTED TO KENTRON TECHNOLOGIES' BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Wilmington, MA, (Monday, December 11, 2000) - Kentron Technologies
(www.kentrontech.com), a leader in advanced memory platforms announced that Desi
Rhoden, President & CEO of Advanced Memory International (AMI2, Inc) has
been appointed to Kentron's Board of Directors.
Mr. Rhoden is a seasoned veteran in the semiconductor industry with a broad
range of experience, since 1999 he has led the interests of AMI2, Inc as
President & CEO. Mr. Rhoden has over 15 years experience in the memory
industry, formerly a Fellow at VLSI Technology and as a Scientist at Hewlett
Packard he focused on high-speed system architectures and technologies.
"I am impressed with Kentron's business model of providing industry
standard, low cost improvements in the density and bandwidth of standard memory
devices through technology advancements at the memory platform (module)
level," said Desi Rhoden. "In addition, I am enthusiastic to be
serving on the Company's board with other leaders in the semiconductor
industry".

Mr. Rhoden also serves on the Board of Governors for the Electronic Industry
Alliance (EIA) and is a Board Chairman at JEDEC and a Committee Chairman at
JEDEC RAM. He holds a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
from Colorado State University.
