MIAN QUDDUS, SAMSUNG'S
DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY ENABLING IS APPOINTED TO KENTRON TECHNOLOGIES' BOARD OF
DIRECTORS
Wilmington, MA, (Tuesday, December 12, 2000) - Kentron Technologies
(www.kentrontech.com), a leader in advanced memory platforms announced the
election of Mian Quddus to its Board of Directors. Dr. Quddus is Director of
Technology Enabling at Samsung Semiconductor.
"We are very excited about having Mian Quddus on our Board of
Directors", said Chris Karabatsos, Kentron Technologies' President and
Chairman of the Board. "Mian has many years of marketing and engineering
experience working with the top global memory manufacturers. We look forward to
his valuable input and involvement as we continue the company's exciting growth
into the future."
Prior to joining Samsung Semiconductor, Dr. Quddus worked for 7 years as a QA
Applications Engineer at Mitsubishi Corporation and for 4 years in Hitachi's
marketing department.
"I believe that Kentron is an innovative company with tremendous
potential", Quddus said. "I look forward to contributing my expertise
in the development and expansion of the company and its advanced
technologies".
Dr. Quddus also sits on the Board of Advanced Memory International, AMI2, Inc
and serves as chairman of JEDEC Memory Module Council. He holds a Bachelor's
Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Fresno, an
MBA from the University of Phoenix and a PhD in Semiconductors and Electronics
from the University of California in Santa Clara.
